Would you use it again?

I'm not a big checkerboard guy, so I'm thinking of solid Pewter (Armstrong 51908) with a couple of Classic Black (51910) "driving lanes" leading to the in-ground lift. (It's offset from the door a bit, and I thought lanes would make it easier to line a vehicle up straight on the lift.)

Tell us about yours.

Mine just came in at Lowe's. I just went with the old standard white and black for the checkerboard look.

I thought about just going with solid gray or sterling though (sterling just because a guy local here has a ton of it at .25 a foot).

Nothing too fancy, here. Just regular black & white VCT in a checkerboard pattern in my 1350 sq. ft. garage. It's been installed five years with no major problems. I do take special precautions to put down some heavy plastic over the tile when I'm doing anything mechanical (like when I replaced the gas tank/fuel lines, replaced the water pump, installed AC in the '34 Ford, oil changes, etc.). A little bit of cat litter to absorb the spilled liquid and then roll the plastic up for disposal in the trash! I love the floor's look and it gets a large amount of "party wear" during the year with minimal upkeep.

Click on my signature below. I used a light grey with black where my cars are parked to hide the tire stain. Its been nearly 5 years now with no tile lift of any sort.

Very nice, Steve. It was your photos that got me thinking about what color to use. Would you remember the names, or be able to find the numbers? "Light grey" is what I'm after, but there are about 15 of them...

I used Mannington Brushwork Granito #702 for my floor. It has been down for over 2 years or so.
