No way my Mustang is the best kept...I know a lot of Stangers who are cardinal clean freaks and win Top 5 almost every judged show they go to.
I have very stiff competition whenever we go to a Mustang specific show.
If you want to see my Mustang in person, I will be at the car show below, Saturday, June 30th, 2018.
I got my gun loving Uncle to stay at the house while I'm gone.

last couple days, more work on my favorite past time, my Husqvarna yth 2454.
This time new starter gear.
Also new chain on my chain saw..........at $16 for new chain it ain't hardly worth sharpening them, I was never any good at it anyway..........lol
Another thing is with that saw you can change that chain with no tools not even a screw driver

Got some long overdue garage therapy last night. Haven’t had any garage time since starting to remodel the bathroom after the supply line broke and changed the summer plans

Starting to rehab an ironworker I picked up last week. New magnetic switch and lines to the motor. It started as just a switch but on the first start = Arc flash and Bam! Breaker trips. Figured I had a bad switch so I jumped it. First time it started, second =same tripping. Found a short in the conduit running to the motor. Up and running and now it needs a hydraulic line.

Also ran out and picked up the sawmill I bough a while back.

Neighbor was selling some previously well-enjoyed Blackhawk jack stands so I rescued them and stuck them under my project trailer

Disassembling my secretary's Yamaha keyboard. She left batteries in it, they leaked and corroded the contacts. You can't reach the far end of the battery compartment end to clean them. I keep wall wart power supplies from anything I toss out, so I'm also going to see if I have one that matches it so she doesn't have to rely on batteries.

Spent some time cleaning an old Model12 12 gauge I got from my grandfather. Not sure when that thing was cleaned last.

Also worked on cutting circuit boards with my CNC machine. Trying to figure out the right DOC to cut through the copper without cutting too deep into the underlayment. It took me a few tries, but I finally got it cutting pretty good.

Why would I rob you when the prize is somewhere else?
That's funny! Uncle Hank keeps the Squirrels away from my acorn tree...LOL!

I see by your avatar you too know about it being a lot of work...I'm beat!

Finished the finish on my ceramic coated ride Sunday morning with a Quick N Slick (Croftgate polymer shine product) wipedown. I had to wait 24+ hours for the ceramic coat to expel the transfer agent and totally harden. Then put in in the sun for some pictures...and went for a cruise!

Today the garage is quiet...too tired to do anything...sleeping on and off in my easy chair in the trophy room....

Been chipping away at scabbing these 2 junkyard lista's into a mobile cabinet. 2 34" wide cabinets, and an HDPE top. Will be for hardware and paint storage. Schaller bins will be here later in the week and I can finish up.

Do you work for Pegasus? I used to order everything from them back when I autocrossed and did road racing.

Oh it looks to say Fegus or something in the car, never mind. Haha
No never worked for Pegasus but have been ordering parts from them since 1983. Great Parts Place!

Same car but I'm not the driver, just the Crew Chief. I built the car in 1998 and ran it for 19 years. Just got back for Mid-Ohio yesterday from a SVRA race weekend with another Carbir S2.

Finished disassembly of the engine and took it out to get rebalanced. This evening proceeded to get things cleaned up and put away. I marked the oil for some cutting and welding.

Yup...we are pretty use to checkin the weather...wouldn't be the first time there in 90F+ heat in a asphalt parking lot. We will be there...look for the guy with the orange hat with many pins if your goofy enough to be out in the heat...

finally had a nice cool day to paint my small 110 sq ft shop. I've put this off for two years and finally decided to do the painting and get it ready for a deck work area. CC&R's won't let me put a roof over the deck so I'm planning a rear wall to display old blacksmith tools, and a 8' x 10' pop-up during the summer months.

Got super nerdy with my wash buckets. I wanted plain white buckets with no logos or warning labels on them. Before spending $30 each on "prepper" buckets I checked Harbor Freight and found these guys for $4.99 each.

Untitled by mpower5266, on Flickr

Peeled the warning stickers off and put on my labels so I dont get them confused.

And mounted them in my rollers. I need to get another red roller, make a plate connecting them(Im not paying $20 for the plate when I can make one for $4) and use the black one for my wheel cleaning bucket.

Got the garage door insulated, the driveline back into my Z06, preparing to pull the heads off, and get the nitrous brackets installed :)
I'll get the new mini-split installed over the weekend.

Cleaned and organized the shed (next to the Garage), which resulted in a van load of stuff to either be given away or tossed in the dumpster. That freed up enough room to FINALLY move the big Toro out of the garage for the summer and fall. Now I can get to the shelves behind the cars without moving everything out.

Also cleaned and lubed the blade tilt and elevation worm screw & gears in the ol' powermatic table saw. Now it tilts and raises with a lot less effort.

Cleaned-up some rusty tools with evaporust and re-arranged some tool drawers. It was a productive weekend!

Spent 2 hours making a replacement speaker that Amazon promised me would fit my truck, ACTUALLY fit my truck.
Tomorrow, I'll get the other side done. I'm guessing 30 minutes for the second one, now that I've figured out what to cut, what to grind, which cuss words work best, etc.

Yesterday I had to take the old van to get smogged so that was in someone else's garage, and totally shot my after work time yesterday, but this past weekend I made progress on the eagle project, and tonight sorted out the somewhat baffling threshold/door/body fitment. More in my "camp gear" and trailer build thread.

Brought my garage sale generator in and started the cleaning and disassembly. The gas tank had a lot of caramelized fuel caked around the sump. I cleaned the tank out hoping to get lucky. I put fresh gas in it, shot some starting fluid in the carb, and it did actually run for a few seconds. But then wouldn't start again. I'm pretty sure the carb is gunked up too. Ahh well, that's life, lol. I'll spend some more time with it another day.

My neighbor down the street is having a garage sale tomorrow, and I asked if I could bring some stuff down for him to sell. He said, "Sure!"

Without realizing it I filled up the bed of my truck with stuff... lol... Just random garage things I don't use or were up in the attic.

Now I just need to finish a few projects and get things cleaned up some but it's so freaking hot outside!

We had a free charity pick up yesterday so I spent Monday evening organizing a pile of stuff to go out....when it was all said and done I made enough room to actually fit a car in my garage.....not that I put one in there (I mean who actually does that) but I could if I wanted to...

Nailed that one right on the head!
30 minutes, start to finish including putting all the tools away, cleaning off the bench from all of the die grinding AND watching Jeopardy!
(I kicked *** at Jeopardy yesterday, BTW)

Actually, it ws yesterday. I installed a Curt Class I tow hitch on my neighbor's Prius. The directions quoted 15 minutes for an experienced mechanic, 30 for a novice. Pop the rubber hanger off of the muffler, (4) 17mm bolts, the muffler hanger and one bracket out, (4) 19mm bolts, the muffler hanger bracket and the tow hitch in. Looked easy. Took me 45 minutes. Toyota mangled the hanger bracket SO bad, I couldn't get the rubber hanger off either pin. I ended up making a custom shallow socket to get at the muffler hanger bracket bolts, dropping it out intact, sliding the rubber off the muffler, beat the hanger bracket straight and then everything went back together in about 8 minutes...

Built a wall storage shelf/rack for my power tools. Modified some plans from HD's website so it would fit in the gap I had.

It seems to hold everything well enough.
