Got a new jack from HF! I am very happy with it and can actually jack up the Shelby now!

I have the same one, I love it. I got mine when they went on sale and they let me use a coupon too.

Diagnosed a no internet problem with the shop PC. Turns out the Netgear 1750 router in the house had a LAN port go bad.

Disassemble free to me floor jack that's been in my possession for about 20 years to see if it's worth fixing
/ getting parts.
It leaks when sitting, found the leak to be coming from one of the 2 hard plastic tapered seals on either side of the oil reservoir

One of my car show flag dowel rods broke inside of my trunk after a recent car show.
So upon further inspection of the whole assembly of my formerly rigged, hanging bar stand and three flags, I see I had different size dowel Rods on each flag. One was plastic, one small, and the broke one.


The flags were also pretty dirty so I unstapled the flags and put them in the wash to be cleaned.


So I restrung the flags on new dowels but I had to resize the holes on the bar to fit the uniform sized dowels now holding the flags. My good old drill bit holder gave the right sized bit and my King Seeley Table drill press made short work of the flag holding bar....


Once I got the bar holder drilled, all the flags fit into it bar holder...


The bar also has screws to lock in the flag poles so I could put American flags into the bar and actually drive with the flags flying in the back. The screws make sure I don't loose the flags even during the heaviest wind.
The bar fits in back of the seat and forward of the tonneau cover and is secured below the covers bungie cord hold downs.


All this hub-bub for car show flags? I suppose sometimes in life, the simplest things are a pleasure to work on.
During a cruise in....

Change the oil on my Ariens ST824 Sno-Thrower. Then pressure washed it and waxed it. Finished up by adding some Ethanol Shield to the gas tank and lubricating every thing.

Yes, we race a no time dot class. It requires dot tires and basically all steel and glass, and fully finished interior. It did very well with the sbc turbo motor the last couple seasons, now we see if we can manage all this extra power.

My son found an old timey game of Operation in the basement. The battery compartment was stuck shut--screw was stripped, and the batteries were corroded in. I'm cleaning it up and reworking the battery compartment a bit to see if I can get it to work.

I think it'll be fun to play this old timey game with a post millenial kid who normally plays mostly online games.

Been away cruising the family fun mover across a couple states for a beach vacation. We rented a Chrysler Pacifica mini van. Talk about a cush ride! Of course I branded it with the channel logo. The wife was not amused at first, but eventually came around to the idea..... Flat Thunder on the open road. Haha

That looks like a good size to me! I work on vehicles in a 12 x 24 area of my shop, and often wish I had an extra 2', though the 12' is workable. One thing about bigger is more steps to get about. I imagine you will be quite happy with that size.

Started some long overdue maintenance to the garage man door jam. In addition to sanding and repainting the the peeling exterior portion of the jam, also repaired/patched the area in front of the deadbolt plate (door was closed one time too many with the deadbolt extended), and sand/painted the interior portion. Looks a ton better, but I still need to remove the door and paint that interior jam area as well. Yep, it is just a garage entry door... but it bugged me every time I was working out there with the door open.

Of course my wife thought my time would be better served repainting the pantry door, so I guess that project needs to completed before I strip/repaint the garage door
