well maybe you should ask him to stock more of what you want. I have had customers tell me to get different stuff that they use a lot of. it pays off for me to have different tools. you never know what the guy is working on at home.
my aviation guys do a lot of at home work as well. I have some that buy more tools for home use then they do at work.
mrshaun has a customer ever asked you to price match a a tool site on an off brand tool?
Like a month back i bought a OTC slide hammer set and Hub Tamer set, both of which a SO dealer could have sourced for me but the lists on the respective tools were like 500 and 750 i got them for 250 and 380 roughly. Now i know if i got them through my SO guy getting parts warrantied would be a world easier but paying that much of a premium seems excessive.
But like i could probably save 100 dollars on buying a full line of cobras getting them through tooltopia vs their msrp. I'd rather give my So dealer the biz but I was wondering if he could pricematch a tool site and still turn a profit.
I mean the guy has my biz 100% when it comes to Snap on tools. Actually here's one for ya right now my SO credit is at 10.9k(he said it includes calculated interest based on a payment plan on the box if i paid the minimum weekly payment) and my revolving account is at 3600 2k of that is box though. He said that's a record for RA balance with him. You trust any customers that much?
