Just got some concrete steps poured and me being the perfectionist...saw this at the bottom step. Looks like when they were pouring it may have gotten some water on it.

Anyway to remove that prior to be sealing the concrete? (acid etch possibly)

On the sealing note....am I out of time now that our temps are no longer above 70 and get down into the mid 30's?

Thanks all!!

Thanks for the reply. I'll try some vinegar(assuming straight white vinegar) on the step before I seal it...but probably won't be till spring now due to we don't have the temps for drying the sealant.

Thanks again!

P.S. On the step I had to have the small one on the bottom due to the height of the elevation and relativity to the entry door.

That's why they make calculators so you can divide the total rise by the number of steps. What you have there is grounds for a negligence suit in the event of injury. You won't ever sell that property w/o correcting that.

If you're that particular, you should not have allowed that to occur. Sorry for the criticism, but I can't stand to see poor planning like that.

*cringe*:shocking::wtf:

Since others have already mentioned how to fix the blotches:

TSMSTS - the steps must stay the same. First rule of stairs: one uneven step will be THE most awkward thing you have ever encountered. people will be tripping over it as long as it's there. That's just...gah:willy_nil
