Maybe you bolt or clamp your work piece to the table, loosen the table clamp and let the weight of the table force the drill through.

I forget what skill uses those, but they are actually a legit setup to drill from the underside where you need a hole in the only flat side of the object that has to be down on the table for stability. I want to say bowl turners.

That would also be called an over-arm drill press.
This however is an under-arm drill press. A similar animal, but needs frequent application of antiperspirant.
