Maybe you bolt or clamp your work piece to the table, loosen the table clamp and let the weight of the table force the drill through. :dunno:

I forget what skill uses those, but they are actually a legit setup to drill from the underside where you need a hole in the only flat side of the object that has to be down on the table for stability. I want to say bowl turners. :headscrat

It's a rockwell radial that someone made adapters for to go on a delta bandsaw? stand.

It is missing the foot and is sitting down side up. It is a radial drill press, the section with the motor and chuck more forward or back quite handy press. Normally a lot bigger.

That would also be called an over-arm drill press.
This however is an under-arm drill press. A similar animal, but needs frequent application of antiperspirant.
