Is the tag on the motor?

More often than not, a motor is purchased from a third party by a machine manufacturer and then sold with an assembly.

From the pictures, I can see a pump on one end. I would think it's hydraulic because it has a line in and out. Judging by the hard lines, I would guess it sat on some sort of tank that it pumped from.

I have NO idea what's on the other end of the motor. Perhaps an air pump? It's unusual to see a dual arbor motor used in this capacity.

the motor is a Robbins & Myers 1/4HP (?) single Phase 1750RPM 110/220 5/2.8A

I THINK it's dual-head vacuum pump.

And maybe one head quit working and was abandoned.

O.P. can you give us pics of each *end*?
I'm betting there are labels or markings on the pump sections.

Robbins & Myers make pumps out of Dayton, Ohio if you can type in the model number on your tag then search their web-site it will tell you what it is.

It pumps though both sides there's a line that runs underneath from pump yo pump

It's not 2-stage, since both are the same size. Anyway, the plumbing fittings imply that they ran in parallel at one time.

Is that a quick connect fitting in pic 2?

I’d bet at least a bent nickel on it.

That quick disconnect makes me think pressure washer. My initial thought was hydraulic pump though.

I don’t see an unloader valve so I don’t think it’s a pressure washer. The fittings say refrigeration to me as they appear to be brass or copper and single flare. Hydraulic would be steel and look to have a little more bulk to them.

In addition to the flares it also appears to have a ‘service’ valve.

Ok this might be too easy. Take off one of the lines and see if there's oil in it. I still feel like it's something to do with water, maybe part of a car wash or something?

I agree with txvwnut .... the fittings look like refrigeration to me....
I also think 1/4 horse motor would be too small for hydraulic pumps....
