What is the cast metal socket holder called --- the part with the three screws. Has Leviton in the cast. There is a porcelain socket that goes inside made by Leviton -- not attached in the photo. Does it have a proper name other than socket? Can't fine one w/o the whole fixture.
I'm making up some lights for my new project. I have quite a collection of porcelain garage/utility lights and shades. Naturally, no matter how much stuff you have ... you don't have what you need !!
I have a nice small NOS Appleton globe that needs a socket/ top and I can't find one. I have two small vintage globes that use the same type (that's the one in the picture) -- normally I would just take one ...but, I need to use them as well in the project. They are perfect other than being painted .... easily reversed. Years ago this stuff was all over the auctions and flea markets ... often dumped in boxes ... or you would buy a messed up whole light and take the parts. Not around anymore.
I'm not sure what it's actually called? I found a guy selling two light with them -- but, he wants $550.
