Then don't deal with them....but a lot of folks do. It's. It a personal attack, it's business. The less I pay for something, the more I stand to make. Period.

Driving by someone's garage that is drywalled and it's not painted. Even years later it's still not painted. Why don't you paint the drywall?
Todd
I have never really understood why you would even bother with taping and bedding it. Its a garage, not a bedroom.

I feel personally attacked...

No, seriously, our garage is not painted, and I wish it were. There was zero time to do it before we moved in, and well, now it's full of stuff. Bit of a catch-22; when the weather is nice enough, I'm out using the 2-wheeled occupants of said garage. When it's grody out, the garage is full of stuff I don't want to put out in the weather while I paint.

Fire codes generally require mud and tape.
Had a garage added to the end of the existing house a few years ago. The builder said by code they had to drywall and finish the wall that was attached, shared with, the house. Along with replacing the old door with a fireproof door. Mostly for carbon monoxide I guess. Not sure how true that is because I think he is in prison now for fraud :ROFLMAO:. The father and law and I finished the other three walls, with mud and tape, but painting them never really crossed my mind. Makes it easier spot and remove the spider webs;).

People who drive halfway in the parking lane when there are no parked cars. And then swing out and around parked cars as they come upon them.

Also, drivers who don't know what the green left arrow means on a traffic light, so they wait until the arrow goes off and the light turns fully green and then make a left turn in front of the poor guy facing the other way who was waiting for his light to turn green.

I guess most of my pet peeves involve traffic. :)

People who don't really add to a post but just throw in their know-it-all interjection.

The pedigree of “pet peeve”
Q: Where does the phrase “pet peeve” come from?
A: “Pet peeve,” an alliterative expression referring to something that bugs you, is relatively recent in origin and dates to about 1919. Here’s the entry from The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language.
The noun “peeve” isn’t much older, going back to only 1908, according to The Barnhart Concise Dictionary of Etymology. It comes from the much older word “peevish,” an adjective from the 1300s. The derivation of “peevish” is unknown, but the Barnhart dictionary suggests that it might be linked to perversus, the Latin word for perverse.
Interestingly, one of the oldest meanings of the noun “pet” is a fit of peevishness. (The Oxford English Dictionary has published references going back to the late 16th century.) As an adjective, “pet” can mean “favorite,” as in “pet project” or “pet topic” or, getting back to the subject at hand, “pet peeve.”

Tongue in cheek.

It's my pet peeve and not an attack on anyone. ✌️
And the word grody is totally rad for sure.😉
