This depends on how you are installing the floor. Many companies recommend the 1/4" Wooster Mohair naps when the coating is being poured onto the floor and then backrolled. The Mohair naps are smoother and you get less nap hairs in your finish. The longer the nap the more likely you are to get nap hairs in the finish. It is important that you get shed resistant naps!!!
The size of the nap you need not only depends on how you are installing the coating but also on the desired coating thickness. When you are dipping and rolling out of a roller pan or bucket you can control thickness in part by the size of the nap. A 3/4" nap will put the coating out thicker than a 1/4" nap...
The best advice is to follow the instructions in your kit or ask the manufacturer if it is unclear.
