The tool man knows, it's a weapon that can be used to access something when nothing else works and is quite handy. I can't find the thread but, I think superautobacs (close sorry) posted some examples of its uses. I think every tech needs one for those weird situations.

so, a tz1 is a 1/4" drive, and a fz1 is a 3/8" drive. there is no sz1, does snap-on not make one in the 1/2"?

I had a thread referenced further up, but I thought I'd mention this for anyone that doesn't read that. If you get those adapters the only extensions I've found that consistently align the male and female ends are the Snap Ons. If the extension ends are not aligned it can cause some serious angle issues that make the adapters unusable.

I just checked all my 3/8" extensions, Gearwrench, SK, Craftsman and Snap-On. The only ones that were not aligned were the 24" Craftsman and 3" Snap-On.
