what ratchet is he using?

hey folks, i was just wondering if anyone was familiar with the ratchet being used in this video or one of the same handle spinning type? it looks worth a try

any info would be greatly appreciated!

The stanley is a knock off the the facom rotator IIRC, probably fine if you need one cheap.

Lowe's sells the Kobalt 409431 in 3/8" which has an extendable handle in addition to being a "rotator" handle. I bought one with a bunch of other kit at a pawn shop just in case I might use it someday. Someday hasn't come yet.

I was gifted the kobalt one, I saved the sockets since they are useful in some situations but put the ratchet in my "regift to others" bin

The Kobalt one *****, or it might just be the one I have. It skips badly when turning the handle, almost to the point of freewheeling at times. I have taken it apart and can't find any obvious problems. You can get the Bostitch version of the Stanley at Walmart for around $20. It is exactly the same.

I have this one - got it with a bunch of other tools in an auction so no money in it really and don't know where it came from - Walmart ? I didn't even know it came apart till I took this photo . It doesn't get used but maybe it will have its day. Interesting tawain, US, German pat on it ?

The ratchet is a 3/8 Stanley Rotator Ratchet made after the Facom one (since Stanley owns Facom now) I purchased mine from Walmart about a year ago or so now they are selling the same one at Walmart under the Bostich name. The ratchet is under $20 and yes it comes in very handy indeed. I have the Facom and the Stanley! Here is a photo of mine and a video of the Facom one in use.
