I believe it's some sort of body trim or car window tool but I really don't know

it is for removing the retainer clip that holds the roll up window handle on older cars
pretty much any GM ever made with "manual windows
Why toss it keep it for that one friend that comes by that needs help with their old beater
We used to call that clip the aww **** clip because when it lets go it flys across the shop at sonic speeds and never to be found again. I had buddy that worked at the Oshawa Ontario GM plant who would get me bags of them for free well i had to buy the beer so when one would fly we would just get one from the stock binit is for removing the retainer clip that holds the roll up window handle on older cars
If you slide a clean shop rag down behind the winder handle and and wrap it around the clip and apply a twisting motion it will slip off easily and as an added bonus you wont lose the clip when it flies across the workshop, as it stays in the rag.
Thats what we did in the Vauxhall/Opel dealership. I had the tool but it doesn,t work as good as the rag![]()
Ah, manual windows. none of those so off it goes to the scrap metal pile at the recycle center. Might choke on the Chinese steel though...lol
Must have been something my son bought and left behind.. I have quite a few mementos of him...lol

Sure as you toss it, you'll have a need for it tommorow.
