It depends on where you are; there may or may not be a reasonably local company doing plastics recycling that can do something with it.

At the consumer level, curbside recycling is pretty uneven around here, but there are dropoff options for plastics and other recyclables.
If there is, then you'll need to make sure it stays clean (no cardboard or paper) and dry and either transport it or make arrangements to have it picked up.
It may take a bit of added effort, but it's definitely worth trying to keep this stuff out of landfills.
