The transom plug for my boat has a square head. I would like to have a small T-handle type tool to install and remove it. I think it is about 9/16". Currently I use an adjustable wrench. Any ideas?
Female drain plug socket is first thing I thought of.
My boats all use an expanding plug with a t-handle you can remove without tools. I would see if one of these would fit. No tool needed.
they make a T-handle attached to the drain plug for most trailer boats...some even have that T tethered to the boat, so it does not get lost...check your local chandlery.

I've always used this tool-less style.

Check out the “Rite Hite” stainless steel prop wrench. It is the only tool I use for boat drain plugs, I’ve been using it for almost 30 years. I can’t post a link to it from this phone but just do a search for it on amazon.
