Just normal metric hand tools and a filter wrench for the basic maintenance. Assuming your talking about a BT and not some thing else. You will also need a feeler gauge to set the valves about every 15k or so. The rest of the motor, if in good shape should go 250k+ or way more w/o any thing else. Might go through an alternator, belt tensioner, or a vacuum pump seal ( if your running the dodge 6bta version) in that time too.
Snap-on makes a tune up set for 12v BTA and 24v ISB motors but unless your setting the timing, or checking the compression you really don't need one. BTW if you are running a 12V motor I have a few extra Snap-on Compression adapters I'm looking to sell, I some how wound up with 3 of them!
