If im working outside, 12in flat rule with MM on the other side(doubles as a flathead driver/knife in a pinch) some brand of perm marker, el cheapo 12' tape measure. Working on truck i add a 48" fabric tape, china marker, and a LED worklight. And a lighter for the smokes.

That little screw driver as well.

It might well be the most used tool I own.

Okay not really but close to it...

Oh yeah, and a pocket knife.

My little pocket knife/lever lock. I could have made a pretty penny if I had a dollar for every time I've pulled it out to use and had someone offer to buy it off of me.

None. I don't want to poke any holes in my pants then through to a customers seat. Or scratch the paint. Not saying all tools in pockets will do it or its bad to do it. I just try not to do. Also have left some in my pockets only to be washed and then damaged the dryer. Wife was NOT happy. So now I just keep all tools out of my pocket

Almost always have a 4 inch crescent wrench in one pocket (attached to my key ring). Usually have a swiss army knife (the real kind, not a Chinese knock-off) in the right front pocket as well.

For Years my pocket tool of choice has been the Victorinox SwisChamp.

It has been super useful and I think that at some point I have used
every tool on it... The knife, magnifier, pin, toothpic and tweezers
being the most used. Great size and quality too... very happy with it.

Usually, Stanley retractable, pencil, tape measure. The more tool oriented pockets will hold whatever pliers, screwdrivers etc I need for what job I was doing as that time, and a hammer from the hammer loop if I need one.

Snap on pocket screwdriver. SOG folding pocket knife, keys with bottle opener and my strion streamlight. Then when on a call whatever tools are needed when up my ladder. I do not like tool belts, so usually wrenches, pliers and a ratchet stuffed in my back pockets
