In theory...In my case, 300 pounds bouncing up and down on a 36" bar and I couldn't break some of them loose...Buy whatever the cheapest impact reducer to 1/2" is. For 2000s Toyotas the lug torque is 76 ft-lbs, you should be able to breathe on a 25" bar and hit it.

This would be easier physically, but we also wouldn't buy a 1 inch breaker bar for passenger car lug nuts in the first place. As someone who is recovering from back surgery as we speak, I would suggest getting a 1/2” cordless impact gun in your favorite color with a 6 or 8 Ah battery and hang the breaker bar on the wall as decoration. Your back is not getting any younger.
Thats a good reason to start buying quality sockets, better chance to complete your job safely with less surprises and down time.Crappy potmetal from random Amazon brands.
I broke a no-name socket once on it's first use, it did shatter and go flying and that was with a regular 1/4" ratchet. I would not want to repeat that experience with considerably more force and mass.

I'd agree if he was going to be impacting on it with a 1" gun.Crappy potmetal from random Amazon brands.

Mine wasn't a Toy....Chevy truck. Then you had a different problem. Speaking from experience Toyota lug nuts properly torqued can be loosened by an 8 year old with a 1/2" breaker bar.
It was part of a tool set I was given when I was maybe 4 or so? I needed an odd imperial size when most of my stuff is metric, so out it came.Thats a good reason to start buying quality sockets, better chance to complete your job safely with less surprises and down time.
Breaker bar with a cheater pipe trying to get a lug nut off an old tractor. Not sure how that would happen with a breaker bar.
Yeah but OP is looking to use a 1 inch breaker bar on a car so he only has to use a pinky finger.Breaker bar with a cheater pipe trying to get a lug nut off an old tractor.
Socket came apart and went in his arm right above the elbow. Piece looked like an arrowhead and would cover a Quarter.
