When you are opening a canopy and sliding the legs open a ball pops into a hole to adjust the height.
It is a spring and ball assembly. What's it called ? Where can you buy them?
Can you get them in much larger sizes?

As in the detents on an Ez Up?

If so....you should have said something last week....I just threw away a bent ez up frame

Detents ah yes that's it. Looking to build a Bench Grinder mounting assembly that lowers under the work bench for storage.
I know mounts have been talked about on here before but I want something different then using a trailer hitch receiver etc.

That type of detent is known as a spring button. I have some spring buttons (a couple diffreent sizes) that are surplus from a product that I used to make. I'd be happy to send you a few to experiment with. If you want some just send me a PM.

If you go to e-z ups website im pretty sure you can orded specific parts if you need them for that.............BTW you havent lived until you have seen a E-Z up go flyin across a karting paddock at 40mph due to winds and not tying them down..

There is a thread here somewhere about a shop in the UK with several nice tool storage devices that raised and lowered to store under a bench.
