Picked all this up for $40 a few years ago at a auction, fair price or what? I don't really know what 90% does...

No China made junk here
What's my junk worth?
I like the storage drawers.
The stuff is the typical selection of machinist's tooling and small tools. My guess is the dies and taps are carbon steel, not HSS.
If I saw it at a garage sale, I'd pay up to $60, but only for the drawers.

a machinist wouldn't store his files and taps like that.
i would all are dull from age, use, and storage.
drill bits are consumables. throw them out when dull, or, sharpen if you have the spare time and patience..
dull taps are throwaways, so are dull files, unless you want to spend $$ to get the files re sharpened.
nostalgic value, hell yes.
$ value? minimal..
