Picked this up from AMZ a couple of months ago to consolidate chargers and tools in one place. Even has a plug strip for chargers.

And yes it is attached to a timer.

so, the posts are very far between but always working on something... bought a cheap drill press vice but it can often be in the way... built this storage unit to keep it out of the way when not in use.

started on a second project to store my 12' step ladder in the shop. building a similar unit to the one I built to store my extension ladder.

I forget if I already posted this one when I did it. To this day, one of the best wall-storage projects I've done - get the floor jack and jack stands off the floor. Right inside the overhead door.

Off and on I’ve been putting together four car wash, detailing stations in my garage. The goal was to better organize the stuff, make it easier to do a wash of one of my cars and to open up some room in the tool cabinets of my workbench. All of the stations were made of laminated plywood and all were kept low profile to the walls of my garage. I have a smaller garage nd still need to walk around the two cars that are typically parked there.
The first station has my pressure washer, bins for drying towels and wash mits and also the most used car wash chemicals.
I have a second area dedicated to wheels. Included is a stand for detailing wheels. The base holds wheel washing chemicals on one side and drawers for towels etc on the other. On the opposite side of the garage is a interior detailing station including a wall mounted vacuum
The last area is further along that wall and has my polishers and polishing pads and chemicals. The base also includes drawers for storage.

You put together some nice organization!

I found the galvanized vertical shelf stand from ikea just fit between the door track and side wall, taking a similar footprint there.

I got some more work done on the ceiling step ladder storage. Hook and pull mound strung and the ladder is above my head. a few more steps to go and this one is not as simple as the extention ladder to implement.

Bottle opener was a gift from sister in law.

Rest of garage is a disaster and far from organized.

It might be a disaster to you but I see lots of nuts and bolts and stuff that can easily be found. Let’s just agree it’s a work in progress.

I really like the two bottle and can holders on the outside end of your cabinets.
Easy access and good use of otherwise wasted space.

When I built one of my benches over my former work tool box I knew I wanted shear panels on the ends for strength. I routed a dado and put the panels on the inside of the 4 x 4 legs.
This gave me a recessed area to mount some things I wanted to keep accessible at the bench.

JG: I am going to see if I can do something similar on the end of my workbench too. Great use of wasted space.

Larry: I used to have this on the side of an old wood bench but when I upgraded to steel benches my Dr Pepper opener got mounted by my garage to kitchen door. I don’t use it much anymore but I can’t tell you how handy yours would have been catching all my Heineken and Corona and other beer caps.

I wished I had used something different for the supports of the bins. The 1/8” temper board sags.

might be a bit pricey but always could replace the temper board with 1/8" aluminum plates?

the step ladder hoist is coming together but found v1 was pulling on the main hanger pretty hard. moved the block mount one truss back on the ceiling. I have to add a block to the hanger and I am thinking about gusseting the one side to reinforce it.

I know not techinically a wall but it utilizes space under the stairs to the basement.

so I got the 12' step ladder storage sorted out and it works really good. added a few more pulleys and and some gussets on the hanger. uploaded a video to YouTube showing the operation of both racks and both ladders stored.
