The end of the bolt looks like it's either square or flat on two sides, I was wonder if they made a special tool for those applications.

Its just a socket that has an allen-key type fitting on the end. I use one when I remove my endlinks as well.

If you look at the stud/bolt, you can count 3 flats on one side.....so, it is a hex bolt.

A quick google search for 5th gen Camaros shows a 7mm socket is needed for the front sway bar. The rear uses an hex wrench.
