What's this wrench for? Aviation application most likely.

Stamped sheet metal, 1/2" 12 point wrench. 12" long, .125" thick, no markings other than the size.

Looks like the outer wrench for my table saw blade change, but too small opening. So maybe custom-made for a tool or application requiring reasonable torque.

I'm guessing it was a specific wrench for some fairly simple homeowner-grade tool.

Others here will know more than I, but I'd be shocked sh*tless if any aviation-spec tool didn't have control numbers on it that identified all kinds of things.

It came out of an aviation box covered elsewhere here, so it had a some sort of. One thing I have learned to hate from avation is all the tools in the box need to be run across my demagnetizer. Damn tool tracking.

Used to tighten Jesus nut . If you didn’t tighten it tight enough and it comes loose , your azz is screaming OH JESUS , just as you see the scene of the crash starting to rapidly approach you !
