I'm looking for feedback on what everyone is using. Steelman and LTI seem to have what I'm looking for. I work on all makes/models so a large variety is what I need. Thanks
i was looking at the Steelman sometime ago and saw some people in reviews saying the sockets didnt fit on all locking log nuts bc there where to big and they didnt have the right key for all locks. like McGard and gorilla.
I bought the big Steelman set a while back. So recently I decided to see what misc locking nuts they would fit. Out of 6 different ones, not a single socket fit. I'm a little more then disappointed.

a set of old worn out 12 point sockets has always worked for me, Beat on on with a 5lb sledge and zip them off,

I have the Irwin/Hanson set (it wasn't cheap) and haven't had to use it on a wheel lock... yet. I own them as a "just in case" tool for my home garage since I have wheel locks on my cars. They're nicely built, high carbon steel and made in USA.
