Any Parker vise experts (or non-experts) know this?
I'm trying to figure out what year(s) Parker used letters instead of numbers for Model numbers on their vises.
They use C. Parker Co. (not Chas. Parker) and do not have "semi steel" written on them. The No. C and No. E are fixed base vises.
I'm looking at this craigslist ad for a No. E and it looks a bit like a 3x model from about 1903?

And here's a short thread about a No. C vise http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=201257
Thanks
