Where can I get this valve core remover?

I'm hoping the expertise here will know who makes this tool. I've seen it, but nobody knew who made it, they all got it second hand, and the name was gone. I've searched and searched and I can't find one like it.

It's a valve core remover that screws onto the valve stem itself, and has a screwdriver that stays in it and you turn the valve core out with that. It has holes on the part that screws onto the valve stem for the air to bleed off. The valve core can't come out of the tool and go flying this way, which is nice with 200+ p.s.i. aircraft tires.

It looks like just the round part of this tool:

Any ideas

I own one of those, but now that I think about it I havent seen it in years. I believe it was k-d I think I picked it up in aids auto in the mid 90's not positive though. I'm gonna go try to find it.

No prob, I should thank you i found a niffty tire gauge when i went to search for it. I could use one of these in the car, it get annoying switching back forth with a gauge and the tire inflator

I got a Milton 506 or at least I think that's the model number, inflator / gauge similar to that for Christmas. Used it Sunday to check and fill all the tires (including spares) on the Escape and Colorado. So much easier when you're not constantly switching back and forth between two tools.

I have one at work, I think it is the safe-cor tool, looks like it anyway. Its in the bag it came in, I'll look Saturday and see what it is. I use it all the time for deflating aircraft tires in a hurry.

Kinda, but the gauge is useless to me. The safe-core seems like the way to go so far. I just wish it was cheaper.

Import the last one I picked up was around 15 to 20 bucks pretty cheap to me when you consider the cost of freon nowadays OH YEAH and the fact we are not supposed to vent it out into the air something about the ozone .

this an aviation specific tool adapted to other applications as you can see by the many other ideas that people have posted. this tool can typically stand up to 3500 psi of pressure. it's a safe-cor tool p/n 968rb and they run $30-$40 from my local snap-on truck

List price from Johnstone is $82.99 which means you can probably pick it up for around $35-$40 if buy it from someone else or have an account with Johnstone.
