Where do you keep your crowsfeet?

I'm conflicted...where do you keep yours and why?

Wrench drawer?
Socket drawer?
Specialty socket drawer?

Somewhere else?

I'm thinking with specialty socket/drive stuff...but am curious how you guys have them organized.

I keep mine in one of my wrench drawers. I stack them on a 3/4" square bar with a presto pin in each end.

^^^^^ I like that idea, but if you use them regularly it seems it would be a PITA getting the one you need, I use mine not quite daily but several times a week, I like being able to get the 5/8 or 14mm out of the mix easily.

Kind of cheating as those are the 90° double broached feet.

I store min with sockets too, but like this.

X2 on this one in the socket drawer. Since they'll require a driver, putting them in with the wrenches just requires opening two drawers.

this is something I found in a different thread, looks like you should be able to just pick one without taking them all out

they work great. my dad and I both use them and have for years

they come apart in the middle allowing you to access any crowsfoot you want

First, I can't take credit for the idea. I saw it on GJ!

It's actually very easy to use. Just pull the pin at the end closest to the one you need and slide a few off until you get the one you want. The fit is fairly loose and they come off and go back on very easily.

mine are in the top of my box with all the rest of my 3/8" & 1/2" dr sockets.

smallest is 13/16" flare nut, the rest are open end 7/8"- 1 1/4", 3/8" dr,
1 1/4" open end, 1 1/2" flare nut, both 1/2" dr.

bought them all over a 20 year time span, as i needed them.

In lieu of on their leg ends, I keep my crow's feet in the drawer with my chisels, punches, and pry bars.

They mainly sit in the drawer and collect dust, but, when you need one, you really, really need it! I used mine last week replacing a power steering line. You stick an extension in the drive hole and you can snake it down lines and past obstructions where you can't fit a wrench.

Usually on the side of my socket drawer, but my box is at the shop and my crows foots are at home currently, but the magnets on the rail make it easy to move wherever it needs to go.

i use the exact same setup. just need a bit of keystock, or square tube if you can find it in 3/8", and a couple of hairpins.

I do something similar, I got the flare nut crows foot sets in standard and metric during one of those half-off Craftsman Club sales they used to have some years ago. I just keep them in the plastic packaging they came in, cheap but effective.

Same here^^^ I don't use mine all that often so I just keep them in the blow molded case. I've got just enough spare room in my metric wrench drawer to fit the cases in.

I got mine about 4-5 yrs ago from Matco during a BOGO deal (metric & SAE), both sets came in a blow molded case. After using up a ton of toolbox space I chucked the cases and stuck each set on socket rail. I keep them with the rest of my sockets.
