Where to buy tool box liners

I need to source tool box drawer liners for different boxes. I see someone on ebay selling packs of 10 for thirysomething dollars. Anybody have their favorite style and or source. Thanks in advance cause I know I'll get some great advice. I need from 19" deep to 27" deep. Thanks fat

Been about a dozen or so threads on this.
I like the ones from HF for 2.29 each. I get them cheaper on sale or with coupons.
Some like the rolls from HF, or from your local Big Lots, or bargain stores or the big roll from Costco. These you cut up. HF sells them in gray and black. Costco etc. sell it cheaper in blue, brown, light gray, etc.

I like the carpeting myself.. bought a huge roll of this stuff--about 1/8" thick. cut to size, spray a tiny bit of removable adhesive on the back (I like 3M spra-mount) and put it in the drawer. cheap, too.

I have used the Lowes and Rubbermaid draw liners Lowes gets my repeat business for lining more draws. The Rubbermaid stuff does not hold up well to oils and solvents it is also thinner with less grab. I have had the Rubbermaid have reactions to some of my plastic storage boxes not a good thing at all.

I use Duck branded kitchen liners. One problem, though - recently I had one decompose a bit and it left some pieces on two of my new ball peins. I suspect that the ball peins came with a light coat of oil that broke down the plastic.

I'm also trying out some neoprene foam, but I'm not sure if I like it yet.

I have the cheapie cupboard liner in my drawers. Target had them clearance for .99 a roll. Its working good for now.

I have a few drawers in black, a couple in burgundy, and a few in light blue Rubbermaid lining. The light blue gets dirty, but it is easier to see little odds & ends & bits & parts & stuff on it.

Not enough of a difference to get me pulling out a bunch of tools to swap the black or burgundy stuff though.

I like sheets of rubber, usually in 1/16" or 1/8" thicknesses on the bottom of my drawers. Works well, deadens the sound from dropped in tools, easy to clean up and won't slide around inside the drawer either.

Just a heads up: I purchased some quality tools, including Snap On, that had been in a chest with these as liners. There had been some type of reaction and many tools had "waffle" marks from the liner on them that I could not remove. The liner had chemically (I presume, maybe from out-gasing of the plastic or rubber) "printed" itself on the tools. I clean tools with vinegar (for rust) and alcohol (for grease and grime) and the marks did not come off.

If you have a Menards Store they have tool box liner. It`s $10 for 110 inch roll, however the good news is they have it on sale some times for $2.50 roll.

Bought the lowes stuff to do a cart today and it looks nice, doesn't appear to slide and has some grip. I would still like to find something wider for 29" deep boxes. As Chris pointed out their are some good threads on this topic, search tool box liners. I would love to find the SO stuff that comes in the KRL boxes. Thanks for all the great ideas and keep them coming.

When I replace my drawer liners, I may use the thin black indoor/outdoor carpet.

The other idea I am leaning toward is the black rubber carpet runner.

Black rubber carpet runner is good. Lately, when I've been at Lowes or HD it's been cheaper to buy the pre-cut stuff. This is Step Guard, 27" X 72" for $10. With the 27" width, it's perfect for conventional boxes

I usually don't glue it in the drawers...just in the top compartment. I'll cut it to within a 1/4 of an inch, then keep slicing and dicing until I can get it to stay in the drawer perfectly w/o moving.

Not in my instrument drawers, or in drawers that have very small stuff. I like light gray or light brown to give me better contrast.
On the drawers I keep my power tools in I also use the kitchen type 'drawer liner' usually from Costco, because it is thicker than my regular liner material.

I ordered a 100' roll for the drawers in my Lista cabinets. I couldn't seem to find a suitable product that was wide enough. All I found were no wider than 22", having a seam was not acceptable. I have nine drawers that are 24" wide and 24" deep, and seven drawers that are 24" deep and were over 52" wide. These took nearly half the roll, my wife wants some of the leftover and I'll have some as spares. This stuff is really nice, I used the 1/8 thick product, the thicker one might have been a problem in the Lista drawers. The interior walls have the slots for dividers, the 1/8" thick mat fits underneath these nicely. Same here. That's what I did for my KR537.

I ordered pre-cut from SO for the KR557 and we'll see if they come in or not.

my US General toolbox came with liners but i really wanted the black mesh stuff with the holes in it. so gradually i buy the mesh from HF i think it's $6 for like a 72" in. roll or something. I just place them over my other liners.

I use this ribbed black carpet runner from Home Depot. You can buy it off the rack in two sized pre-cut rolls or by the foot off a huge roll. Most times I've done the calculations and found the pre-cut's to be a better value for me.

Better deal than Harbor Freight for a six foot roll of 18" for eight bucks, at least when width is concerned.

Sears now has a brand in their Holiday promo section for 14.99. They seem to regularly have 10% off also. The dimensions are 22 3/8" x 85.5". These are cut to fit and you get about 5 drawers if the width of the drawer is 22 3/8". Hope this helps.

OK, these liners are a little thinner than I hoped. They are not like the premiums ones you would get from snap on. They are very grippy and seem tolerant of oil and grease (have heard stories of some falling apart because of grease.) Easy enough to cut with a straight edge and razor. I say for $29 a good deal.

I recently used cork in my restored '54 Craftsman 5 drawer (I wanted sometime in line with it's vintage). worked well. I got mine at Lowes.
