That hasn't been true lately.Compared to Milwaukee DeWalt has always been a dog with fleas.
Don’t get out much?Compared to Milwaukee DeWalt has always been a dog with fleas.
This x11. I have two 894's and use them almost exclusively for wheels, tires and alignment stuff. Very rare that I have to break out the big one. I haven't used an air impact in 7-8 years.Yeah, it really is a good mid torque still.
Yes like I said I was looking at the newer mid torque DCF 891/892This x11. I have two 894's and use them almost exclusively for wheels, tires and alignment stuff. Very rare that I have to break out the big one. I haven't used an air impact in 7-8 years.
I am sure Milwaukee's equivalent items are just as capable.

If you put a 6 amp hour on the DCF 894 it packs an extra punch too!Yes like I said I was looking at the newer mid torque DCF 891/892
But between the new Ridgid high torque R86212 I have and the DCF 894 I have, I really don't think I need the new MID torque DeWalt.
I haven’t reached that point yet.I hate to say it but sometimes there comes a point when you need to quit buying stuff just to have it.
If you're out of room, build more room. Which is another reason to buy more tools.I haven’t reached that point yet.
Although my wife thinks I should have.
I already have a 48x75, a 32x54, and a yard shedIf you're out of room, build more room. Which is another reason to buy more tools.![]()
OP,I received a dewalt 20V drill for Christmas with the 1.3ah batteries and have been very impressed wiuth it. I would like to get an impact wrench now. I'm torn between the DCF899B or the DCF880B. I would be using this for general auto work and use on diesels once I graduate. I know the 889 has more toque but Im worried it will drain my smaller batteries too quick. I do like the compact size of the 880 though. I have a very powerful MAC air impact. What do you guys think?
