For shop use the JNC is a no brainer with the built in charger. I've got the solar booster pac 5000 which has performed well. It does not have a built in charger (which adds bulk) and could be charged by the 12V outlet in my truck. It has a slim profile and would fit behind my rear truck seat. It has the same size battery as the JNC660 (22ah)that is well regarded here.
As far as jump packs with AGM batteries, the size of the battery and the size/quality of the wire and clamps are going to be the prime things I'm going to look for.
I recently purchased the noco GB 150. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but the youtube videos of it starting a 7.3 with no batteries was pretty impressive. But they are expensive, with pricing usually at $299.00 Best price I found was on amazon using a price alert from camelcamelcamel.com. I think I paid $240 Another option is to buy online from northern tool with a $50 coupon if you have one. Here's the video:
ETA: another reason I went for the lithium jump packs is the reduced frequency of charging required. NOCO claims 75% charge retention after one year. The AGM packs usually recommend a charge every 30 days. That's not an issue with a shop pack, but I really don't want to have to remember to drag it out of my truck and charge it every so often.
