Which long reach jack?

I have the Hein-Werner 3 ton service jack. It's works well. But, low-profile it is not. Ordered it through Amazon a few years ago. The hydraulic cylinder leaked right out of the box, but Hein-Werner customer service sent me out a new cylinder. I was a little angry about replacing the hydraulic cylinder on my brand new jack. But figured that was easier than trying to ship back. Has no issues lifting any of the vehicles I own.

Any chance you identified the source of the Hein Werner leak during the shipping? The Hein Werners have a reservoir vent, and if the jack is turned sideways or upside down, the oil will leak out. I’d say it would be a miracle if oil didn’t leak out from the vent and go everywhere During shipping. When you get a replacement cylinder, they are shipped with a screw plug instead of a vent In the fill hole. If you have a screw plug in the fill hole, it should be replaced by a reservoir vent. The vent increases pump seal performance transferring oil during lift and a smoother, more consistent lowering of the jack.

I have the ACDQ13HLQ. I love it, but it takes a lot of effort to jack something that's close to the rating . It's not for 4000 lb vehicles as I felt like the plastic handle was going to break when used on the front of my Tacoma.

Well it all depends on what you trying to get of the ground the bigger stronger on so you can lift anything

if it will make you feel better, the same handle/same part number is being shared between the DQ13HLQ and the DQ20HLQ.
