Hi guys, I've been using the garagejournal for my source of ideas to plan and build my new garage and workshop for the last year here in England. I'm now getting to the good bits like deciding on a floor finish.
I had always wanted a polished concrete floor but I've decided I would like to use Racedeck tiles instead but I'm not sure which ones to go for.
I love the free flow tiles, they look awesome but are they comfortable to work on?
My garage is for working on my Caterham race car so it won't have a dirty or wet car parked in each night so the actual free flow is probably not so important for me. It looks like it could be a bit uncomfortable to work on your hands and knees around the car? Do small parts get stuck in the grove?
I was thinking I would be better off with the diamond XL tiles instead as they give a smoother finish, I ordered 2 sample tiles of the diamond tiles but I'm now thinking I should order a couple of free flow samples.
Any opinions and comments would be good to know before I make a desicion on what to order.
Thanks
Luke
