We've established that back stabbing is bad. So what are your thoughts on WAGO push connectors? Or even the springy 221s? They're pretty much the same concept as a back stab right? I've heard people love them and people hate them.

Personally I like a good old wire nut but I'm not an electrician looking for speed either.
But on another note we've had spring style din rail terminals installed at plants for 30+ years with very few failures, but this is all very low amperage IO for industrial controls.

There's videos on YouTube of overloading tests performed on the Wago connectors. The Wago metal clamps hold on fine in these extreme cases.

A couple for example-

We use the Wago Lever Nuts at work where we build automated manufacturing systems, wire nuts not allowed.

I have used them in places where it was not convenient to use a conventional wire nut, at present I have a large supply of wire nuts to use before investing in more Wagos.
