My first post so here goes. I want to redo the floors of my garage and I want to do something like what has been done in this thread.
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71002

I have a couple of questions
1. What kind of cermaic tiles are these? Are they sturdy enough to be used in a garage or do I have to take a lot of care? I like that they are large tiles, does the size affect its strength. How much would they cost ( with and without including labor) to install?

2. I'm also considering white resin floors like this one

as an option. I dont really like flakes and so dont plan to use them or use very little amounts of them. Is there a thread that explains how to install such a resin. Would they hold up well against usage, and would I be able to wash away oil drips etc or would they stain?

How much would be a nominal charge to pay a contractor to do this for a 500sqft garage. I live in seattle wa, if it helps

I know that this is a lot of questions, but any help will be appreciated.

Both links in my sig will answer your questions. Search for Jack Olsen, he has ceramic tiles in his garage.

I can't get the pics to pull up on this slow garage computer but I think Jack has Porcelin tiles and not Ceramic.

You may also want to check with Abstamaria on what he has on his floors as I think his are white or just an off white.

Jack has Ceramic tiles. Also Ceramic tiles will hold up just fine as long as they are installed properly. Those look like 24" tiles in the pics.
