As far as I know, that 12 piece set is all made by Stride and resold under approximately 1,000 different names.

If you're looking for a real upgrade from the Craftsman set, get the Knipex kit. The Stride/Imperial rebranded sets are not any better quality than what you're using now.

I have couple pair of Craftsman snap ring pliers, and I have been wanting something better.

I think the Craftsmans are rebranded Stride/Imperial. So if you want a more complete set, that's one thing, but you're not going to be getting better quality.
