About warranties, Why does everyone get so concerned about warranty on a set of wrenches??????? When was the last time that you broke or destroyed a wrench that you were not abusing? That I can recall, I have had one case of a wrench breaking, it was a 12 pt. 9/16" box end of a Craftsman combination wrench, and the end shattered with little torque. This was in the early '70's and the wrench was a WWII production version with no chrome on it, that my dad had bought new some thirty years earlier.
Sears did give us a new one after we got the tool department manager involved, the clerk didn't understand why it didn't look like the ones they were selling at the time, and with no chrome.
Beyond this one instance, I have never, at work, or at home, broken a wrench (nor a socket for that matter). I work on airliners for a living, and piddle with cars, trucks, and tractors or whatever comes along, at home, so I do use tools alot.
