I’ve had good experience recently with Suncoast. Good prices, free shipping (usually) for on-hand stock and good customer service. I started buying from them when ToolsDelivered went offline.

That said, ToolsDelivered appears to be back up.

Gonna bump this in regards to ToolsDelivered.

I just filled up a cart this morning with a few extra things I wanted, and I just went to check out and their site is now closed again.

Williams isn't even on their list. I punched in some part numbers and nothing came up unfortunately.

I'm trying to fill up a cart with Suncoast but I can't get the order big enough for them to ship it... They seem to dropship and also stock certain things. The few things that would get me over the minimum to be shipped are local pickup only.

Should've checked out earlier.

Look under the “J” for JHWilliams. Their search is a bit funky but I have bought Williams tool from Toolsource and AboloxTools fairly recently.

on there,l ordered Williams tools from them and is under J.H. Williams

I didn't even think to check under J. None of the part numbers I've punched in show up though. Not going to bother scrolling through 5k+ items. I'll probably try abolox if I can't figure out how to get my order through Suncoast. Maybe TD will come back up...

I have the Williams catalogue saved to my computer. I pull the part #’s from that. I just checked 5 of them and each one pulled the correct tools up in Toolsource.

You could also give them a call. Their customer service is pretty good.

I'm not having any luck. I was able to find the other filler stuff I need but these are the main 3. Just trying to order all from 1 place.

I've struck out with these sites:
Suncoast
Abolox
ProToolWarehouse

Zoro is forcing me to buy things in quantities of 2 which jacks the price up a bit.

are you familiar with the tools your buying and know them to be US made ? while back i needed a single crows foot and williams had the size i needed so i ordered it . not knowing much of anything about williams i assumed it was US made. turned out it was taiwan when it showed up. price was right and it was just for one time use so i wasnt terribly disappointed but had i known i likely would have payed a couple more dollars for a used snapon from ebay

The current knowledge is if the part numbers has letters in it, it’s US. All numbers is foreign. I have some US and Taiwan Williams.

web site seems to be working now for me, although I've not bought anything recently. I've bought a lot of stuff from tools delivered.

I don't like Sun
www.suncoasttools.com , could be worth a try......
I would NOT do any business with Suncoast Precision Tools. They refuse to honor warranty and return on defective items.

I had a 1/2 drive CDI torque wrench that didn't even last three months. I purchased it via Suncoast on Amazon, Amazon has 90 day return policy and a screw fell out of the head and I felt it was defective because I never had a screw fall out out of the ratcheting assembly. I didn't want it warrantied, I wanted it replaced or my money back. Suncoast dicked me around on the warranty with insults. Thank god I had a warranty purchased on Amazon. F&&K Suncoast Precision Tools!!!

I use a torque wrench everyday at work and I suspected Suncoast sent me a used torque wrench. I got my money back and purchased a Mac and Snap-On torque wrench.

Well yes, before I open my mouth again,..... I see Snap on made their industrial tool line Williams , YEY ! When they closed down in upstate New York the tools were basically outsourced to Taiwan . As for your reply you might need to read on a bit more .

Williams has two lines of tools. One is made in Taiwan and the other USA. They overlap a lot, but there are some tools only made one place or the other. In that contextI don’t think it’s fair to say they closed down and outsourced.

The USA line still exists.

Just look for tools with letters in the part numbers if you want USA production. I personally have both. The Taiwan-made stuff is quite good.

The one category I don’t buy is pliers. They’re ok, I just think there’s better options.

With the recent company revamp to Williams Industrial, they added the prefix "JHW" to all the part numbers. If you ignore that, this rule generally applies, but not in every case. There are some exceptions, but i cant recall what they are right off the top of my head.

I believe Williams was in upstate NY and that did close down. Yes the name survives I see, into Williams Industrial which is great ! I guess we need to see "vintage Williams Tools " verses SnapOns new Williams Tools.

Not sure where you've been but Williams still makes tools in the US. Their catalog is clearly marked with USA for the items that are made here.

I used Abolox for my last two Williams and Bahco orders since Toolsdelivered went away. Abolox shipped quickly from their location- unlike Toolsdelivered who was always drop shipping. I wonder if Williams insisted that dealers stock most items now, instead of drop shipping everything, and that's why TD went away?
