Wilton 4” vice

Looking for jaw inserts for this 4” wilton vice the manufacturer said they no longer have and recommended this group any help would be appreciated

There are people that make custom jaws, but you'll spend far more than that vise is worth. Get some aluminum bar stock and some blind hole locators and go to it. You may be able to skip the hole locators and mark the hole locations using the intact original jaw as a template.

A transfer punch through the existing holes sounds easiest, though the spacing may be a nice round number and easy to layout.

For what it's worth, I have a big fancy Wilton with nice sharp hardened jaws. I put a set of aluminum soft jaws on almost ten years ago and I've never taken them off. I suppose there are uses for hardened jaws, but I've never encountered them.

Do you want hardened, steel ones with the waffle pattern, steel ones with smooth faces, or aluminum ones with smooth faces?

I make aluminum ones for all my vises and I add a little rabbet so I can hold thinner objects.
