Hi everyone!

I have a little 4 inch Wilton vise and I'm missing the nut and bolt assembly and the locking pad that locks the vise from swiveling. Anyone happen to have a broken vise that would be willing to help a fellor Garage Journaler or tell me where I could find these peices without paying an arm and a leg?

Thanks,
Danny

By the way, Wilton customer service couldn't help me.
Consider yourself fortunate. If they'd had the parts, once you heard their prices, you'd have needed to call 911 for a heart attack. New Wilton jaws cost more than I pay for used vises.

If some how you can tie your vise with this site you might be able to find what you are looking for. I have made these swivel handles and lock nuts before and can send a picture or two on how I did it if you want. Seems the going price if you can find the right one is $35.0 + for the lock nut and bolt assembly.
The cheapest way out is purchasing a carriage bolt and a acorn nut from your local hardware store. Wilton used this method on some of their vises.

Thanks guys. I'm fine just bolting it together as I doubt I'll swivel it much. But, isn't is supposed to have some special little part under the bottom? Is that why you specifically said a carriage bolt?

When I called Wilton they said they didn't have any parts available for that model.
