UPDATED: With Pics / Winter Damage
I had my floor professionally done with epoxy last summer and the contractor finished the approach/threshold with paint. I then removed an inch of the expansion joint and filled with Quikcrete patch to make a smooth transition. Winter in northern IL has been hard on it. The Quikcrete did not last and cracked down the middle. The paint also cracked where the concrete was patched underneath. Please advise what you think would work in the future and if my two year professionally installed epoxy warranty would apply for the cracking to the paint. I will try to load pics later.
Thank you.
