Wiper Arm Pullers?

What’s the goto wiper arm puller these days? Lisle makes one but the arms look a little flimsy:

This one from “Glass Technology” is a little pricey at $52 but looks stout:

Anybody with personal experience with these or other models they can suggest? I have an otc front end kit with tie rod seperators and the like, but sometimes they are too bulky to fit under or around the wiper arm.

I can usually wiggle the tapered knibbler bushing ones loose, but for the stubborn ones, I’ve use a battery terminal puller. Seems like I remember using a faucet handle puller before too. The Glass Technology one is supposed to be the bees knees but I have got by without it.

I've seen guys break the linkage brackets with those.

I have the lisle one and it works for most. I'm on my second one, the little tip broke off the arm on one a few years back. I did run into one arm I could not get off on a transit connect, must have been put on with an impact or something and it's at a weird angle and recessed so can't get other pullers in there. I have this set in my list to get to see if it helps with the next stubborn one, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D83K5YPG/?tag=atomicindus08-20. Not sure if it will fit on some but figure it be nice to have for another option. I also have the glass technology one in my list. When I run into something I can't get with the tools I have I end up ordering everything I can find so I don't have to struggle next time.

I have the one pictured by the OP - I've used it about 3 times and it worked well. I really like the knob at the top that puts tension on the arms so they stay in place. Only problem was on a rear wiper where it just barely fit as there is not much travel built into it. The T-bar is pretty flimsy but hasn't been a problem for me. Add some penetrate and some vibration to the mount and it will pop them off.

I dont typically need to use a puller - just use my hands. However, if the fitting is tappered,... OR severely corroded, I've used the small puller in my gear puller kit (picture attached)

Yes - I have the Lisle one (54150) and the package says 'Battery Terminal & Wiper Arm Puller'. I bought it so recently that I still have the package on my workbench.

Mine was issued to me in the late 70's or early 80's. So- I don't have the receipt or the packaging.

I have an older OTC one that looks a lot like the Lisle one. It's worked fine for wiper arms and corroded terminals for me.

I believe the Lisle 54150 or Lang 202 are the best starting points for new tools. You can find the Snap-on CJ92 for about the same price used and it's likely more durable.

I have the Schwaben 8-piece wiper arm puller set, but I have never used it. The Lang 202 has done everything I have needed it to do.

I have the Lisle one. Only needed it a couple of times, but it worked fine.

I'm confused. I thought they always used the same puller they used to pull the lugs off a top-post battery.
I have two or three of them. Tiny little things. Like this thing.

I needed one in a bit of a hurry so bought one from a local motor factor.

It was a brand called “Welzh Werkzeug”, which sounded like one of those made up brands slapped on Chinese made tools to pretend they are German (European readers correct me if I’m wrong, they may be better known in Germany)

But, as it turned out, it’s a very decent tool. If it’s far eastern made I’m assuming Taiwan, and it has worked flawlessly.

It cost relatively little, and it’s way better than some I’ve seen.
