Wizard was Western Auto's house brand.

Just like True Value uses the Master (insert profession here) and Lawn Chief (for outdoor power) labels, Western Auto used the Wizard branding for everything made for them. I have a Western Auto Wizard rototiller from 1972 that's still going.

You'll need to scour the inteweb to learn the original mftr of the grinder, then try to track down a manual. It took me 3yrs to find a manual for the tiller under the Gilson name.

I'd see how it does with a 40w bulb, then graduate to 60w if you think it can handle the heat. Before doing anything though, go through the wiring to confirm that the wires aren't roached. Re-wire if needed. Good luck.

Not everything, their firearms were sold under the "Revelation" brand. Most being re-badged mossberg and savage firearms.

The maker was Fairchild Industries. It's all explained in the owwm link I posted above.

The socket is probably a miniature screw base, so 40w and 60w are far too large. It probably uses closer to 15w, or maybe 25w at the most.

Wizard was only one of several brand names used by Western Auto for their tools. Some of the others were Westcraft, Westline and Chrome-X.

Yep, WWIIJeep nailed it. I've had two of those and the first was a Fairchild. the current one (The Fairchild finally died beyond resurrection) is a Manning bowman :dunno:

The bulb is a std Night light 7 or 4w, and yep missing the bulb guard, which is shaped to fit the night light Xmas Light bulb shape. I MAY have a bulb guard from the Fairchild, If I didn't use it on the Mannnig...
