When I purchased my house the floor in my garage was painted grey and it looked great, After 6 months the paint started flaking off in spots, When I scraped up the flaking paint there was a white powder substance under the flaking paint and you could see that the floor had been painted a different color grey once before. I asked my neighbor if he knew anything about the problem and he said that the foundation had been poured in the winter so it is possible that they put calcium in the mix. The area where the floor was not painted looks fine; the problem is where it was painted. Twice... Is there a solution to this problem other then having the 45x25 floor ripped up and poured again cause I can not deal with this Ugly A$$ Floor. I was even thinking about putting tile down but I am worried about the tiles flaking off.
Thanks….
