After watching the video, I went and made love to my wife. While doing it I was thinking of that tool store.

It's the creme de la creme under one roof!

Seems weird to see all those tools in glass cases. I wonder how many counter tops get broken when a customer drops a tool.

Kinda sad that their import store are better stocked with US tools than domestic stores.

you would be surprised how strong the glass tops are.

when I used to drill bowling balls, they would sometimes drop on the counter tops, and would not break the glass.

What kind of clientele do they serve? A mixture of techs and average DIY'ers? I can't see a store like this staying in business in the US for very long, because the average home owner is more than satisfied with cheap tools.

Japan has a huge car/bike culture. They spend large sums of money to have really nice classic vehicles shipped from the US and Europe to Japan. I always say that the US and Europe made the cool old cars and bikes and then the Japanese make them better. Just check out the Bike, Aircooled VW and Porsche scene in Japan. They know what they doing and don't mess around. I would not expect them to be any different when it came to selecting tools.

This is very true, they are beyond disciplined.

I noticed most of the signage and price boards I see in the stores are written in English. I expected to see a lot more Japanese symbols than I did. Is this normal in Japan? Is English pretty much a second language in that country?

Thanks for the link. That's exactly what I was talking about. I really love the segment on the guy that builds awesome cars from complete garbage and the owner of RWB the Porsche tuner. That stuff is really inspiring.

That is five minutes and 37 seconds of pure tool ****. I especially love the twin cylinder air compressor with the sealed motor.

If you buy a set of Nepros tools in a velvet-lined, fitted wooden tool box, can you actually use them on a greasy car or motorcycle?
