Seems weird to see all those tools in glass cases. I wonder how many counter tops get broken when a customer drops a tool.
Kinda sad that their import store are better stocked with US tools than domestic stores.
"It's 7000 miles to Japan, we have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigerettes, it"s dark out and we're wearing sunglasses"
"Hit it!"
What kind of clientele do they serve? A mixture of techs and average DIY'ers? I can't see a store like this staying in business in the US for very long, because the average home owner is more than satisfied with cheap tools.
Japan has a huge car/bike culture. They spend large sums of money to have really nice classic vehicles shipped from the US and Europe to Japan. I always say that the US and Europe made the cool old cars and bikes and then the Japanese make them better. Just check out the Bike, Aircooled VW and Porsche scene in Japan. They know what they doing and don't mess around. I would not expect them to be any different when it came to selecting tools.
This is very true, they are beyond disciplined.
