Wrench and Vise: disproportionally sized....?

Brought these items home with me from an auction today (along with some other, less interesting junk). Oddly enough, they were in the same box.

Obviously, the "vise" is more of a jewelers clamp and has no distinguishable marks on it; however it does have a nice little "anvil" in the back. The wrench was made by L.C. Thomsen of Kenosha, WI, which supplies stainless steel products to the dairy, food, brewing, and beverage industries. It appears to be made of aluminum and measures about 4" across the flats.

I have no need for that wrench but damn would like to have that vise.

Finally got my "mini vise" cleaned up. It has 1 3/8" wide jaws and an opening capacity of 1 1/4". And it weighs practically nothing.

Oh, and about the wrench pictured above: I must have used a Harbor Freight tape measure on it because it's actually 4.25" across the flats, not 4" like I said before.

That wrench is used for breaking apart SS fluid lines in food production settings. In my frame of reference, we used them on yeast lines in a bakery. The fittings never get too tight, but can be a bear to get a part. The 4.25" is for a drop line and 6" ones were for main or supply lines.
