I'm sure Scott will have the answer but I was wondering what if anything I should do before using the crack filler in a shallow gap between two slabs in my garage. There is no saw cut just a shallow gap maybe 1/8 to 1/4", I had an issue with the first couple if feet of my garage that had a bunch of cracks. The builder saw cut out about 4 feet and just re-poured right up to the existing slab. Should I use a diamond saw and open the grooves up or just lay the Xtream Set. I just want to make sure it holds, don't need it lifting after I finish the epoxy.

Thanks for the groups support...d573723dc1b6393aa46da1d64a50a404.jpg5fbdb9d96c44c2f9e9539559353c1e4a.jpg

Legacy can chime in with actual help, but I'd just fill it with play sand, level it off, and apply the Xtreme Set. Mix it in small quantities. I was only able to get a few feet at a time before it would start to set up in the bottle.

Well done! Once you get the hang of it, you can treat longer lengths of crack/joint faster.
