300 with a 4 speed. It doesn't get much more reliable than that. Those 6cylinders would go forever.
Yea finally blew we out the front end truck had a death wobble over 20mph and was gonna be over $1000 to fix. Sold it to college class mate that wanted the engine to swap in his brother's truck. Sure due miss that old truck though. Alot of memories. And in that pic it looks pretty sharp. Most of the time it didn't look that nice

That looks like a fun project, how many stoves do you think you'll be able to fit in there.
Every time you work on your sugar shack I hear the B-52s singing in my head.
HJ I am thinking 4 stoves
Plan is the 2 55 barrell stoves on the back wall.
Then the Stand alone Fischer on the left hand side wall.
In front along 1 wall is gonna be the Home Basement wood stove and then walkway on the right.

Space is gonna be tight but it'll be better than having to cook and run outside I hope.

Are they all carrying backpack water bladders? I see a couple of them in your photos. This week is going to be well above 90+ everyday.

What’s the evening routine this week? Heat related emergencies usually show up in the evening after being outside all day working.

Matt, we took our last tour of DC back in the fall of 1985 with another couple. Hoping to get photos of the four of us together I brought along a Minolta film camera and set it up on a tripod in front of the Capitol building. A capitol policeman came over and told us unless we had a tripod permit, it was illegal to use one on the grounds. Being a good citizen, I asked where I could get a tripod permit and he directed me to the basement, where I filled out the paperwork and received a permit. I had a clear ticket holder from my Formula 1 spectator days that I hung on the Camera bag and we wandered around the Capitol taking pictures, including some that may have been off-limits to the public.

Yep they all have camelback backpacks for water. Tomorrow is a 12 mile hike at Gettysburg day 3 of battle with pickets charge so need the water for that.
