This is a pretty stupid and narrow minded statement.
These tools won't be purchased to be used, in fact most have never seen a fastener. Without having a proper tool kit, a car will easily lose its place on the grass. And while that probably wont mean anything to you, its a huge deal in the high end restoration world.
Oddly enough, the run of the mill 275's are on the lower end of the value scale ranging from 750,000 to 2,500,000. Earlier this year a rare 275 sold for 27 million. A GTO recently exchanged hands for over 50 million.
But what do i know, i only work on these cars daily...
