We've all been impressed with the garages shown here. Lets instead start a thread for the Young Guns....

Rules;

1-Under 30
2- Yours, own or rent. I'm sure Dad or your buddy has a nice place, but lets keep this YOURS.

Nice, I'll try to grab a few tonight or tomorrow. it is in an EPIC state of disarray, but the 2 car garage and only one car has some decent potential! (even though it's an apartment and I won't be spending much $$$ on the garage itself)

Im 23, my fiancee and I bought our house 1.5 years ago. It had a old 45x60 horse shed on it. We built a 36x56x14h fab shop 6 weeks after closing on the house. We have done all work on the shop besides concrete finishing.

Hi Guys,

Here is mine. I was intending on taking a better shot today, and didn't get around to it. So here is an unorganized (oh well) shot from earlier this year.

Lots of plans for more space!

I'm 24. Just closed on this yesterday. Haven't had a chance to move into it, yet, though. That won't happen until around the new year.

Some of the stuff I do and what tools I'm working with and such. Ignore the aerosol cans. It was a quick repair and I really just wasn't paying attention.

Once I get settled it, there will definitely be a thread on it.

21 here. Purchased my first home just over a year ago. Attached is a 19x21 two stall with an additional 8' deep screened porch off the back. I plan on finishing the garage and enclosing the back room to make it more useful for storage and work. I wish it was bigger or that I had room to build a detached, but I don't plan on being here for more than a few years so I will have to deal.

I also really need some updated pictures, but it hasn't changed much outside of some cleaning/organizing.

Name's Clayton, I'm 26. My first post here. I bought my first house last month. Looked for a while until I found the garage I wanted. I really wanted to be able to back my truck and boat in without unhooking. I love my new garage, but I desperately need some fluorescent lighting.

And a big problem. I had 2 9' garage doors, with a walkthrough door between them. I had no room to spare getting my boat in, and actually had to unhook, and push it in by hand. The next week, my dad and I cut out one 9' and the walkthrough, and put in a 14'. Now I have plenty of room.

25, full time engineering student, renting. Once done with school a home with a free-standing shop will be a requirement.

Damn..32 now. I did have almost everthing I have now back when I was younger than 30 though. Minus my new addition to my garage. I love it when younger guys spend there money on property or vehicles/toys that hold value instead of blowing it at the bars..etc...

Nice photo but ...err, wait...I have to get my cane and my oxygen bottle...I'm back....you know? It might not be a great idea to weld next to those aerosol cans and...is that brake cleaner!? dear god, man. :willy_nil

34 but what if ive been in this house and garage for the past 11 years?

Sorry Dude, rules is rules. Boy, it was fun saying that to a youngster. I'm 61, maybe I could do two separate posts.:lol_hitti I'm impressed with all the younger folks getting into the housing market. It's a great time to do it with the low interest rates and buyers market. That won't last forever. Mike

I used to race FV for about 5 years - great entry level, formula car racing. I loved it. I drove F2000s a few times and really liked how they drove - awesome machines!

I can't believe the quality places you are all buying. Around these parts those kinds of places would run you about $1,500,000.....

Full props to you all for getting your own places. Shows real maturity.

Ok, I'm way to old to post, but I just want to say, I'm proud of these guys(and gals if they post) even though I don't know any of them, because it makes me feel good knowing they're not all sitting around playing video games in their spare time. Both my kids are professionals and own their own homes, but these guys are getting out and actually doing real work in their garages and enjoying it.

Bought my house with a 30x50 shop a little over a year ago. I'm 26 now. I've worked my *** off to get what I have. Had a lot of GREAT friends and family help me along the way. Not say its complete by any means. Just betting started. Also got a nasty go fast addiction and a cancerous gun addiction:shoot5:

Wow wow wow wow, its official somewhere at some point I did something wrong. I am going to be 25 in may and theres no way I am in any kind of position to have any of the stuff posted in this thread, big ups to all you guys. Very very envious in dead.

I mean the places in this thread would be high end real estate where I live with a high end price to go with it. Budget real estate does not get you much here.

These aren't in any order or anything. Just some random crappy camera phone photos I've taken while cleaning the place up. I just turned 25 and I own the place. It's a 30x40 with an office and bathroom. The electric is separate from the house (I like to get a good idea of what I'm spending out there), and, thus far, I love it. It's awesome to have a place of your own to work on stuff, rather than using dad's garage, or something similar.

I'll get better photos of it once I get a workflow and whatnot figured out.
